On the website of Karel de Grote we try to give you an impression of our school and what we stand for. You will find all kinds of information on here. In addition we will regularly post photos, taken during school activities, on this website as well. We hope you enjoy reading and reviewing our website.
Karel de Grote is a regular primary school in the Genderdal area in Eindhoven. At Karel de Grote we use the curriculum year class system. Our classes have a small number of students to make sure that the children get the attention they deserve.
Every child is welcome at our school. Together with the parents or guardians we will assess the needs of every child. We also provide proper advice when it turns out that a different school is a better match.
Our student population and educational offer
Our student population reflects the neighborhood in which the school is located. As a result, students are introduced to a variety of cultures and perspectives. Our team deliberately focuses on both similarities and differences, helping our students learn to interact with each other respectfully.
For most of our students Dutch is their second language. While our school is focussing on learning Dutch, English is also taught in all classes.
We value equal opportunities and will make use of any available financial resources and possibilities to help to achieve this. This results in additional language support, free after-school activities, and free school lunches and fruit.
Collaboration with Korein
Our school is linked to Korein, which offers childcare and after-school care (BSO). Together we form the Spilcentrum Genderdal. You can find more information about Korein on their website: www.koreinkinderplein.nl.

Is your child 3 years old? Then you can register your child at our school.
By registering your child you indicate that you are interested in our school.
After this registration we will start the admission procedure.
If your child is admitted, you will receive the enrollment form to confirm the placement.
